One striker out, two in!

Bedlington Terriers have confirmed that Jamie Clarke has been transferred to Spennymoor Town. In his place come Lee Ludlow, who finally signs forms having played last season at Bedlington; and Mark Sheeran, an experienced striker numbering Whitley Bay and Newcastle Benfield amongst his former clubs. Mark is a proven goalscorer and a more than adequate replacement for losing Jamie.

Terriers Secretary Dave Collop explained the reason for the departure of such a recent signing. "Jamie has been relocated with his work to Hull and has to be there until midday every other Saturday or similar. Obviously logistically it is impossible to make Bedlington in the given time scale so a transfer was agreed - although Spennymoor themselves doubt that Jamie will be available for them on a regular basis."
