Terriers aid Gambia

Terriers Committee member Alison Healy recently travelled to Gambia and in the process took the opportunity to spread the Terriers name far and wide!

Alison has sent us some of the photos she took and has the following to say about them:

"The first one is the Head of New Yundum School, Mr Cham, with his Terriers tie which he thought was fantastic. The second photo is of Youssuf Jallow who runs an under 14's team in Banjul. He took the sew-on badges I left at school and said he'd rename his team The Terriers in our honour. Everyone was delighted to receive the merchandise we sent and happy to make a link with us. The third photo is the local football pitch - no problems with mud and snow there but you might have to avoid the donkeys that graze there from time to time."
